Insulated Water Bottle with Straw-18 oz Stainless Steel Double Wall Vacuum Wide Mouth Water Bottle with Silicone Boot

Medium sized somewhat thermal water bottle, food-safe stainless steel, includes an easy-to-use sipper (press with your thumb and it pops up), a finger or lanyard handle, and a silicon boot that helps keep the bottle from sliding around. It holds more water that a compact 1-cup bottle and a bit less than popular Nalgene-style bottles that are sold for camping (see size comparison pic). The advantage over the Nalgene is that it keeps items colder for longer and can also be used for hot liquids. I have a strong preference for tube-shaped bottles. They're easier to clean. I prefer the compact bottles over the big ones since I have to bring them into meetings and they need to be somewhat unobtrusive. Bought 3 for my great-grandsons who will be spending every other weekend with me for a while. The youngest is 3 but the oldest is 10 and I realized the Paw Patrol sippy cups were really no appropriate anymore. We’ve had them in use this past weekend and they were great. These bottles are the ideal bedside companion. They hold the perfect amount of cold water. They have a fitted silicone sleeve on the bottom so they don't slip around or leave any condensation of any kind on our wood bedside tables. They don't leak or dribble. They are super easy to sip from. They come with two straws. One is attached to the lid inside the bottle and the other is in a separate package with a straw cleaner brush. The handle lifts up to carry and easily pushes down when drinking from it. They are so easy to fill. Super easy to hand wash. We are so happy we found this size. This review pertains to the Mollcity 12 oz flask. The straw has a weak attachment inside the lid. The attachment point is offset straw so if the bottle is packed with ice the straw can be knocked out of the holder as it is twisted closed. Although the 14 oz flask also has an offset straw, its attachment is more secure and doesn’t get pulled out. I have both and they both keep drinks cold. I fill them half full of ice a night and there is usually ice left 24 hours later. I do recommend either size though. I would prefer that the straw is centered so ice doesn’t trap it but the design doesn’t allow that. I’ve used other brands that do have a central straw but the mouthpiece is soft silicone tubing which picks up food stains and is hard to clean. The Mollcity bottles have hard plastic mouthpieces which I think are more hygienic. Read more

This bottle works well, keeping my iced water cold for 8 hours. The lower profile reduces knock overs. The low bottle and width fits well in my vehicle cup holders and does not get in the way of my standard shifter on one of them. The bottle is durable, surviving drops on ceramic tile floors and concrete surfaces. The wide mouth makes it easy to fill with ice; the lid gasgets seal well and the flip top straw cand be opened on handed. The cleaning brush works well. The silicone base cover makes the base sit quietly in the vehicle cup holders even on gravel roads. Read more
