I bought this back in May for my cat, Luna, and it has been such a win. She’s usually pretty picky, but the way the feather hides under that green fabric drives her wild. I actually just got another kitten recently, and watching the two of them try to "double-team" is great peak entertainment! What I really appreciate is the touch-activation. It’ll go into sleep mode when they take a break, but the second Luna or the kitten swats at it, it kicks back into gear. It’s perfect for keeping them both entertained so they aren't wrestling all over my keyboard while I’m trying to work. Good quality and extremely easy to use. The Sound: It has a little squeak/chirp. The kitten loves it, but if it starts to get on your nerves, you can just double-click the power button to mute it. Charging: Total game changer that it’s USB rechargeable. I don't have to keep a stash of batteries in the drawer anymore. Flooring: It’s definitely at its best on the hardwood. It works on our low rug too, but it’s way faster and more "challenging" for them on the flat floor. If you’ve got a multi-cat household or a high-energy girl like Luna, this is definitely worth the money. Great durable cat toy that isn’t too big of size and can always be folded up and stored if they get bored and need a simulation break for a few days. Read more

This is the best cat toy I’ve had and I buy A LOT of them. I’ve had others like this but this one is a lot more clean looking and a lot quieter than the others. The motion sensor helps the battery last a long time and is there when my cats want to play! My cats always want to play with it! Read more

Took a chance and my goodness, this is the best toy ever! The old boy, P.C. (Porch cat), loves it! The young puss, Lilun (little one in southern dialect), loves it! They play together with this toy! I did good on this one! Easy to recharge and lasts all day. It’s got enough weight. The price for what it is could be lower, but it’s a winner, so well worth the cost. The chirping sound is infrequent enough not to annoy, but works to get the cats attention. No bad smell. Read more

My three cats, all 2.5 years old, love this toy! I leave it set on standby mode and they play with it off and on for hours. I like that it makes squeaky mouse noises and seems very durable. Even if my cats sit on it while running it doesn’t break and keeps on going. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and the cats still like it and regularly play with it. It also holds a charge for a long time. Its best on a hard floor but also works on low carpet. Read more

Addressing some of the 1 star comments: --Toy falling out? Be sure to really press the toy into place. First time I did it I was "careful" which meant it didnt go in enough to keep it in place. SO then I went back at it and pressed harder. I could HEAR it snap into place, and it has been VERY secure ever since. Many hours of play with 4 cats. --"Dont know if batteries need replacing" (wtf, honestly). This is a RECHARGEABLE toy. It comes with a USB to USB-C cord. I just use the one I have for my phone. Takes about 2.5 hours to charge. Light is red when charging, green when done. As for play, if it blinks red at some point, that means the charge is getting low. Other aspects mentioned are worth considering (string, feather-- be observant, I dont allow pets to play with this 100% of time, always use supervision). --------------------------------------------------------------------- In short: My rating is 4. All our cats love it, has been holding up well. Really 5 stars from them! But, I am not a fan of turning it off. That could be better. It was a little weird to figure out at first. But basically have to press through the color options, then once it settles on red do a long press. But it is easy to mess that up and have to start all over again. Kind of reminds me of flashlights that have various light options-- never able to just turn it on and off with ease. Ah well. ============================================ Here is my overall perception of this so far. I will be back to update if we experience anything else worth mentioning. So far we are in love. It is incredible! This is a must have. It is worth the try anyway. Buy for your kitties, buy for everyone you know who has kitties. It has been a joy to watch interact with this. Even when they hang back just watching, it is still entertainment for them. They just dont know when that toy is going to move, or how it will move. I bought this on a whim, as a gift for my moms ragdoll cats. She has 2 young adults boys and 2 girl kittens. The eldest (1.5 yrs) was born an old man, and isnt so much into playing. The other young adult, is still playful, as are the kittens. I figured at least 1 of the 4 would be interested. All 4 kitties went bonkers for it! I initially just wanted to see if it worked, so I had charged it up a little bit (under flap of power button), attached the toy (be sure to snap in securely), and then turned it on. Well, it immediately drew interest. *****But this is what maintained their interest: **************** ---->>>> It has variable, unpredictable movements! As well as pauses in movement. Very enticing! Whomever created this definitely had cats because this is made to entice cats interest, enhance their curiosity and prey drive, and to maintain it through continued wonder. I thought they'd be bored in a few minutes. NOPE! Try no less than 30 mins. I had actually given this as a gift, and had left before they were done playing. Funny thing, at the 15 minute mark I had picked it up to put it back on charger (I had only charged it for a little while), and the cats followed me, stretched up my leg, and meowed their displeasure at the toy being taken away! Well ok then, back to the floor it went. This brought ME so much joy to see all the cats just being so engaged, and looking satisfied with the toy. It gave them a good mental workout, which is what we want out of enrichment. GREAT gift for someone with cats. BTW, I had brought my big sweet labrador with me, and he was keen on the toy as well. He is super respectful of kitties, so he didnt interfere. But if you have dogs, I imagine they will enjoy seeing this in action. However, only under supreme supervision as it is for cats. No smell that I could tell. Folds up small for when not in use. --The material is lightweight and smooth, with a light crinkle. --Openings allow for cats to slide their paws in. Clever cut outs allow for toy to peek out at random. --Center is the power. The button on top gets pressed on. Then with each press there are different colors. I am not sure yet if it creates a different movement pattern. The instructions arent real clear. Gotta say, the cats dont care. I think it goes into standby mode when not activated by cats after a period of time. I really hope it holds up. This has been great. I am considering one for my own cats now that i have seen this in action. Read more
