I also love that it comes with an orange replacement shell and plush cover, giving me options for customization. However, I didn’t realize the ball itself would be as hard as it is. While it’s durable, I feel like it could be a bit softer—especially with the plush cover, it would have been more comfortable for my dog to play with. I think a softer texture would make it even better for dogs that like to bite and carry toys around. Overall, it’s a fun and interactive toy, but a softer covering would make it perfect. Comes with two cases but only one motor. The motor works well and the ball moves unpredictably. The fuzzy cover is too large and falls off when the ball is on. One dog loves it, one dog is scared of it. The cases are weak and will be quickly damaged by teeth. Read more

I have had other toys like this and the two halves stay together well. This material is a harder plastic and once it starts to unspool, it unspools. The yellow cover is pointless: my dog tattered that in 90 seconds. There is an extra ball (not the mechanism) which I guarantee you will need because the other one will crack. Read more

If you have a high energy pet this is a great purchase to tire them out. There are a couple different modes for you to choose from, one is a more active mode and the other has a standby feature where the ball essentially goes to sleep after a little while and can be reactivated by your pet touching it. Watching my little pup chase this ball around the house provides me with endless entertainment and tires her out like you cannot believe. It charges pretty quickly, can last in standby mode for a week, and if your dog is really relentless will go nonstop for 3 hours (theoretically)....my pup gets too tired for me to test this in actuality. But of the 3 different brands of balls like this I've purchased, this is the longest, and best, battery life of them all. I highly recommend it! Read more
