Not recommended if you have a dog that likes to shake it's head with the toy in it's mouth, my dog almost knocked her self out with the ball. She had it by the rope and was shaking it , the ball hit her in the face really hard. It really doesn't move either really only vibrates. Also it comes apart easy and could be dangerous if not supervised while playing. Read more
Not for small breed ball has weight. will keep dog engaged for a while my pet managed to chew rope off now has 2 toys. hard bounce on floor Read more
Not for hard chewers. Not sturdy and the material feels like styrofoam. Great idea to keep dogs busy but better materials and more settings on how the ball moves and bounces is needed. Read more
Best thing about this is the bright coloring with blue dots - so it's easy to see. There are balls I routinely lose in the grass because, well, when the grass starts turning a bit yellow or dried out at the park even tennis balls blend in perfectly. The blue dots make this distinctive enough the dog and I can definitely spot it. The other great thing is this ball is slightly larger than a tennis ball. That means it doesn't quite fit under certain furniture and I have to 'fetch' it a lot less! This is advertised as indestructible. I doubt it, honestly. It's a lightweight foam and while there aren't any seams on it, I can see how a persistent dog could eventually wear down a bump or two on the surface and then get their teeth inside it. From there it seems inevitable it would disintegrate. Now, my compliments to this ball stand. It is a nice bouncy easy to throw easy to find toy. If you've got a hard chewer I think it would great if you keep out only during play sessions. And, if you want a challenge, maybe give it to them full time and see how long it lasts. I think rather than a few hours this is likely to at least endure for a few weeks because it is well formed. Read more
