I have a 30 lb Frenchton and a 50 lb McNab. This toy came partially precharged, so all I had to do was find the spot to press the power button. It takes a bit of force, but that makes sense since a dog will be chewing on the same area. Their attention was 100% on the ball for the next 30 minutes. They picked it up and moved it around but didn’t start chewing on it too much yet. I tried both covers, and while the soccer ball one is a bit hard to get on, it’s doable. My family thought the toy was really neat and something totally different from what the pups are used to playing with. I took it apart out of curiosity, and it’s a simple yet well-made design—ingeniously straightforward. The instructions and specifications are printed on the outside of the box. According to that, the ball weighs 208 grams (0.45 lbs). A red blinking light means low battery, blue blinking means charging, and steady green means fully charged. Holding down the power button toggles between two modes: normal and smart. Normal mode shows a steady green light for 3 seconds when activated and automatically shuts down after 5 minutes. Smart mode shows a steady blue light for 3 seconds; in this mode, it goes to sleep after 5 minutes and wakes up again when moved. For $20, it’s an amazingly fun and clever toy for pets. Read more

First Impressions: My boxers love this toy ball. The interactive feature is great. Like a vibrating, motion rolling, lightly bouncing ball. They love it so much we had to let them play with it outside versus inside. Inside they were constantly knocking/banging it into walls and other furniture. Pros: The charge lasts a while and it can be plugged in to recharge versus batteries. If you open the ball you'll see a red light indicating a low battery, a blue light while charging it, and a green light when it's fully charged. The ball covers fit but are a little hard to get on. This keeps my boxers busy for a good hour, at least. All I have to do is show them this ball and they go nuts before I even give it to them lol. Cons: As mentioned the ball covers are a little tight to get on. However, my boxers had them torn off/useless within the first 30 minutes of putting them on. But they love playing with the ball without the cover. Just make sure it's closed properly to avoid the ball coming open during play. I think it would take alot for them to destroy this ball but I do see a few teeth marks in it, nothing crazy. Would I Recommend: Because my boxers love playing with this, and they haven't destroyed the actual ball itself, I would highly recommend it. However, at the time of my review, this is priced around $35. I feel that's a little expensive for a dog toy but maybe it'll go on sale. Read more

The ball itself is good but my dog did not like it because it scared her. Read more

The media could not be loaded. My 3-year-old chocolate lab loves her new toy! This interactive ball is 11.25 inches in circumference and is the perfect size for my 61 lb. girl. I charged the ball before use by unscrewing it to separate into 2 halves. It took around 20 minutes to charge using the included USB-C cable. I then plugged this cord into a USB wall adapter. On the outside of the ball, there are some round indentation circles in the rubber; this is where I had to push to turn on the motor after I screwed it back together. It takes a little pressure to turn on and off. This is also the spot where my dog bites down and turns off the motor while she is playing with it. Now I need to teach her to turn it back on. The ball is made of heavy rubber, and there are no indentation marks where my dog has chewed on it during play, so I would agree with it being bite-resistant unless you have an aggressive chewer. It comes with 2 outer covers, each of which fits over the ball and zips closed. It definitely wiggles around better with just the rubber material and no cover, and the movement is pretty continuous during her play. I only figured out one mode on this ball, which is the constant movement mode. It does not work well for outside play as the grass keeps the ball from wiggling and bouncing around. This is definitely going to be her indoor toy. The bonus for me is that it keeps my girl so busy she is not pestering me to play with her. Yesterday evening, she actively played with the ball for 45 minutes and was very sad when I took it away before bedtime. This is well worth the price to keep my dog mentally stimulated and happily entertained. Read more

This interactive smart dog ball has been a big hit with my 30 lb Bernedoodle, who has a blast chasing it around the house and barking excitedly as it bounces and rolls on its own. It definitely keeps her engaged and stimulated, especially when she needs to burn off energy. She is a strong chewer, and while she has managed to sink her teeth into the blue foam outer cover and leave a few small holes, she hasn’t been able to tear or break any pieces off so far. The durability is decent for an active, determined dog, though supervision is still a good idea. Another strong point is the battery life, which lasts a long time on a single charge and makes the toy convenient for regular use. To charge you need to open the ball which is a bit inconvenient but minimizes any external ports that can get damaged. Overall, this is a fun, stimulating toy with solid performance that does a great job keeping medium-to-large dogs entertained. Read more
