I had this wastebasket in my cart for probably 2 months while deciding whether or not I wanted to spend this much money on a garbage can. Obviously, I decided I did because I really wanted something nice for my office and I hate it when the bags fall into the garbage cans. That was the selling point for me - the ring that prevents the bag from showing which actually also prevents the bag from falling in. From the dimensions online I was concerned that this was going to be just a tiny thing and it's actually a fairly reasonably sized waste basket. Perfect for my office. The ring that goes around the top doesn't actually just go around the top but it's more like a shell that goes around the entire core which is actually even better! There's also a very nice weight to this waste basket. I'm used to really cheap waste baskets and I am ridiculously happy with how well this looks in my office and the fact that the bag won't fall in. Perfect solution to hide the trash bag

Finally! I can hide my trash bags! I don't like the idea of skipping a liner in the can but hate the idea of it showing and marring the look of my powder room. This was exactly what I wanted - and in a neutral stainless look also. This brand also makes a round version. I bought one of each and took a photo of them next to each other in case you are having trouble deciding. One with a liner and one without; you can tell how the entire can (silver part) lifts over the base (black part) to disguise the bin liner. Quite easy to use. Hope manufacturers are listening and make more in this style - I'd love to have more trendy options. Read more
