Long review, sorry! These rugs are definitely pretty and mesh with the blues in my large area rug. They aren't easy to vacuum though. Both my larger vacuums will eat this rug for breakfast if given the chance. Thankfully I have an electric broom that I've used on my tile and hardwoods for years that won't eat this. Electric brooms are becoming more and more difficult to find because people just aren't buying them much anymore it seems. So I'm not sure what all the other reviewers are using to vacuum this rug that makes them consider it's an "easy to vacuum rug" but I sure would like to know! I haven't yet washed it as I have no idea how I'm going to do that, lol. I think I'm going to have to take it to the Laundromat for their extra large washers or use my carpet cleaner on it. ....neither of which are convenient. I have an extra large capacity washing machine, top load with the agitator, but I still don't think it'll be able to handle this rug in there, lol. And I'd prefer not to break my washing machine, haha! :D Learn from my mistakes: I appreciate the low pile on this rug as it helps to deter matting. If you can figure out which way the fibers are laid, try to vacuum up and down/with and against the grain. It took me months before I finally realized I was vacuuming side to side on the rugs which did cause some kinda matting of the short fibers. If you can see the "lines" of the color gradients on the rug, vacuum *with* and *against* those lines (parallel with them). Do NOT go horizontally/perpendicularly to the color gradient lines. For months I was vacuuming perpendicular to the lines which caused the faint clumping/matting, once it gets bad enough you won't be able to undo the clumping. So vacuum *with* the gradient lines and you shouldn't have much of a problem. I got a bunch of rugs nov. '24 to help give my elderly dog traction around the tile and hardwoods. They are soft and she quickly took to napping on them too. :) They definitely served their purpose. Warning: These specific rugs I have on my hardwoods and don't slip around but I haven't tested them on my tile floor. Be warned though, these are made the same way as another brand of rugs that I got from amazon to put around the kitchen on the tile floors and those things slip and slide all over the place on the tile! I've remarked many times how they seem to have legs because they just walk around the darn kitchen. So if you're looking to use these on tile floor, be prepared for slippage. First I would say I love the absolute length and softness of this Runner it is a great color that matches my kitchen. I bought these because I hated the normal kitchen mats that were small rectangles that really didn't do anything unless you stood directly in the spot. I liked how this was very long and was true to how you walk in a kitchen left to right long ways. So I bought one for in front of the stove and one for in front of the sink and one for the hallway because I liked it so much. When it came time to wash these I was nervous because my toddler had spilled seasoning salt on it. So I ran water over it and pre-wash to get the stains out spot clean-wise then I washed it according to the tag on cold cycle but did not dry it. I left it to hang next to the dryer and it dried and came back to the original brightness it was before. It had no smell. It was a little wrinkle after it dried however when it laid down it all fell flat again. My only knock on these was you cannot vacuum them because they are so close to the floor and you cannot really sweep them because the fiber is so small. Otherwise this was a great value for my money and I know that if I wash them I can reuse them into perpetuity because they did not damage themselves and came back to how they originally were when I purchased them Read more

I was a little wary after reading other reviews, but I LOVE this little rug. It is laying on top of carpet, so I like that it is on the thin size. The color, pattern, and feel are all very luxurious for an $18 rug. It laid flat immediately out of the package. I am not sure how well it will wash, but as we do not wear shoes in the house, it will be awhile before that is required. I am considering buying a larger size when my other area rug needs replacing. Received quickly and safely. Great colors. Well made foyer rug 3 ft x 5 ft that is thin enough to allow my front door to open and close over the rug. I am using it at foyer entrance to catch any dirt or water from shoes before reaching my carpeting. It does not move around or slide and I have not added any rug tape etc. to secure it but not sure I will need to. The patterns and colors are subdued but remind me of my oriental rugs I like the statement this rug makes as soon as visitors come through the door. I find it to be worth the price and a good buy in my book. I will buy again for my wood floors in bedroom. It does look like a fine oriental or vintage rug but is thin enough to make laundering possible and vacuuming with a lightweight.vacuum. Recommended for entryway, foyer, high traffic area etc. Read more
