I really like this magnetic airplane phone holder! I just used it for the first time on a plane where there was no seatback screen, and it held my phone in place without issue and remained stable for the duration of the flight. Would definitely recommend but deducted a point as I did not originally have a magnetic phone case and had to get one so I could use with the phone holder. Not a huge deal but I wish the holder offered an alternative way to secure the phone too! Read more

I recently ordered the iOttie Treker Travel Essentials Magnetic Airplane Phone Holder since I was looking for a phone holder that I could use not only at home but for when I travel. I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase! The first thing I noticed when receiving the product was the weight of the product was much more substantial than I thought it would. Many phone holders on the market are made of cheap plastic and not build to last, but I could tell this one was different. Upon opening the box, I found a great quality product that will be great for my needs. The iOttie Trekker Phone Holder works with both Apple and Android phones and uses a strong magnet to attach to the back of the phone. If your phone doesn't have a Magsafe case or something similar, iOttie has included a magnetic ring you can attach to the back of your phone for use. The iOttie Trekker Phone Holder folds down to a compact size and includes a clip to attach to your bag to make it easy to travel with. The size folded down is just under 3" x 2 1/2". It can attach to surfaces up to approx 1 1/4" thick and is easily done with a spring loaded clamp that tightens itself to the table. One thing I really liked is that the clamp is made of metal and not plastic so won't break as easily with repeated use. It is also padded so that it doesn't damage the surface it is attached to. It also has a 360 degree design where you can rotate your phone to any angle you desire, and it also tilts to allow for additional ease and comfort while viewing your phone. I would love to see this product offered in black. It appears right now it is only offered in white, which isn't a deal breaker. Overall, I found this to be a great quality product and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. I might buy a few more as gifts for the upcoming holiday season! Read more
