These fans were not very loud and seem to move plenty of air. I mounted one in an attic to move some stagnant air out, the other I was saving for if that one went out, but ended up using it for dust evacuation when I was mixing concrete bags. I mounted the inlet hose right above my mixer. It held up to that abuse great. This at best is 200 cfm not fully pleased with its performance but hey it'll do for the price.
