Overall great matcha for the price. The matcha taste is lighter and not as rich as the other ippodo matcha which makes sense for the price point. Would be a great matcha for someone who just starting out drinking matcha and are not used to the taste yet. Colors is vibrant green comparable to some ceremonial matcha I tried which is a plus. Very Astringent
I was quite disappointed with this matcha. I heard really great things about ippodo and how they have been around for a really long time. I’ve tried so many matchas at cafes and made lattes at home and this one was really hard to like. I tried it once, and the bitter aftertaste was hard to get over. Putting sweeteners wouldn’t even help. Read more
