I use these to create keepsake boxes for my grands. They hold all the hanging files for school (one per grade) and yearbooks! A great place for final year grade cards, flyers from dance/music/sporting events. I wish I could say I like these. They fit legal size file folders, which is exactly what I wanted. They also fit letter size if you file them the other way in the box, which is super handy. Overall, they appear fairly sturdy and and easy to carry. The lids snap on well and they stack nicely. They are exactly what I wanted. EXCEPT: It took them over two weeks to get here. I understand shipping lately has been a pain and somewhat unreliable. So that I could overlook, but that when they finally arrived, one of them was broken and completely unusable. It surprised me because the box they came in was completely intact and undamaged. I wanted to try to replace the one broken box with one new one - I didn't even need the lid since all four lids came intact, but I can only replace the entire set and I need the other boxes now. The seller leaves no contact information either. I have bought from IRIS before, and was happy with my last purchase, so this is pretty disappointing. Like I said, I am very pleased with the three boxes that came unbroken. But I'm disappointed that I will have to pay for a broken one since I don't have time to return the entire set. If they had come earlier, I might have been able to send them all back and get a new set. But I don't have time to send all four boxes back and wait another two weeks - a whole month after I ordered them initially - to get the new boxes, and there's no guarantee there wouldn't be a broken one or two in the new set either! All that to say, I really wish I could recommend this product as the boxes themselves are great! But overall I'm disappointed in the slower delivery times, broken box, and lack of seller communication. Read more

what ashame...the outside box was in great shipping condition; however, there were 4 boxes. The top 3 were in good condition but the one on the bottom was broken...I just need one. It's troubling that I have to return all 4 when all I need is 1 replaced. just a nuisance Read more

RATHER FLIMSY OR WEAK, ESPECIALLY WITH HEAVY CONTENTS, LIKE FILES. THESE FILES ARE PERHAPS GOOD FOR STORING STUFF, BUT FOR REGULAR RETRIEVAL, I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM. THEY DO NOT REALLY STACK THAT WELL, AS WEIGHT DISTORTS THEM A BIT. THE TOPS ARE PARTICULARLY WEAK. Read more
