It’s a great pull-up bar. No assembly required. Has ring in the middle for accessory straps. It’s perfect for doorway frames. Best one I’ve used yet. And believe me with over 50 years of working out at home and gyms, I don’t say that lightly. Thanks for a well thought out bar. Read more
Great for pull/chin ups, ring rows, incline push ups, leg raises, and so much more, very stable and if you have strong door moulding, will never fail you. Very portable. Weight and stability depend on your door but the bar itself will get the job done. Read more
You have experienced it, right? The cheap fitness equipment thing? So many products that overpromise by 1000% and wind up as crap you can never use and clutter up your house and ruin your joy...hehehe Well, this doesn't have that, surprisingly. I was able to put this up in <10 minutes with no screws and do pull ups (with >200 lbs weight). A little black mark on my paint from the the flat part of the plastic brace twisting around, but pretty sure I can clean that off with no problem. I mean, it's not like puppy dogs and butterflies, but it is a solid pull-up bar. Don't like the foam grips so much, but it is a solid pull up bar. I wanted an easy to use, solid pull up bar. That's what this is. Good experience. Read more
It accommodates wider gripped pullups very well. My regular grip happens to fall right where the joint of the bottom bar meets the top bar with those vertical bars. The bolts and screws protrude on the top or bottom, and there is no foam or anything else except for some flimsy rubber caps for the bolt heads. It forces me to just stick to a wider grip or deal with pain in my hands. The chin-up portion is roomy enough for wide or narrow. It is very sturdy, and it folds flat, which is handy if you can't leave it up. Read more
I've tried many pull up door frame bars and this is easily quite the best one by far. Rock solid, doesn't budge and took mere minutes to figure out how to setup. It even just barely fits my 40 inch wide door frame, although I wouldn't generally recommend that. Standard 36 inch door will work perfectly. Now I can finally get to work doing dead hangs and scapular pull ups to begin healing my shoulders. This also came with good quality straps to connect and do body weight exercises as an added bonus. I have a really thick door frame and have not been about to find a suitable pullup bar for the last few years after moving to a new home. I used to have an iron gym door frame pullup bar that was excellent but didn't fit the wide door frame. For a while I've had a pullup bar that installed inside the doorframe that lodges the . That system was sturdy enough but the tightening mechanism was where my hands wanted to be for maximum comfort and it was not wide enough, limiting my elbow movement. I finally found a pullup bar that would fit the door frame thickness. It feels really sturdy and lets me position my hands comfortably. I thought the cushioning might have been too much but I realized it lets me use the bar comfortably without taking my ring off so that is a plus. I also love having a center ring that lets me hang a light monster band to do warmup movements. I think it would be nice to have some more grip variation like a neutral grip but that might cut down on the compactness of the product when folded. I would absolutely buy it again. Read more
Baffled by all the great reviews.... the parts that hook on the backside of the door top trim piece are 1"wide pieces of metal that will absolutely punch through the drywall. Unlike other bars that use a wide rubber or plastic covered piece that spans at least a couple of studs and thus spreading the load and NOT damaging the drywall. Absurdly bad detail on what could be among the best pullup bars out there. UNUSABLE Read more
