I have been using City Lips clear gloss twice a day and it really helps to keep my chronically chapped lips soft -- but it's expensive! This is a pretty good substitute at half the price. It has a little shimmer to it, but not sparkly or glittery. There is a slight fruit flavor to it when first applied, but that wears off quickly and the gloss just leaves my lips soft and moisturized. It is less sticky than City Lips, which is nice, but that means it doesn't last as long. I plan to use this during the day when I can reapply as needed and use City Lips at night, which should save me some money. Read more

This lasts longer than some lip products I've tried. It has a nice, subtle scent. I love the color, and it is buildable. The only thing is that I can't carry it in my purse because it leaks if it is on its side or upside down for long. For this reason I would not buy again. Read more
