Much better than my previous cheaper Amazon matcha powder. Though, as some of the reviews suggested, it does need to be very well whisked. My standard whisk resulted in a few matcha powder clumps in my iced latte. Second try: I read on Google that clumping is "usually a sign of high-quality matcha." In fact, when you buy a traditional matcha set, it will come with a fine mesh seive. You are supposed to sift matcha to break up the clumps. This is a great matcha for the price. I have it every morning in place of coffee. While I love higher quality matcha powder, I just cannot afford to spend $30 for 40g of matcha. This tastes great and is much more reasonable cost wise. I enjoy it. Just make sure the shipping is done through amazon. The package I got was delayed multiple times and when it did arrive, it was covered in what I assume was gasoline. I am totally fine with the product itself, I order this matcha regularly. I am unsure of what went on during transit. The help I got in trying to sort this matter out was pretty limited as you cannot return food items.
