I purchased this organic version and another that is not labeled organic. This organic version is a product of Japan; the non-organic version is a product of Thailand. The taste difference is very subtle between the two. I ended up preferring this organic version produced in Japan. Read more

I've tried this tea at some Japanese restaurants and fell in love instantly. I had to find a way to buy it in bulk and saw it was available in a pack of twelve on Amazon. Within the last few years, the regular, non-organic Oi Ocha was changed; it is now a product of Thailand instead of Japan, and the bottle is much flimsier. It is still good, but I remember the old version of the product tasting slightly better. I bought this version when it happened to be the same price as the regular (~$17.50), and it seems to be very much like the old Oi Ocha. This is a product of Japan with the more sturdy bottle. I would recommend getting this instead of the regular Oi Ocha if the prices are similar (within a few dollars), but the difference isn't worth the current $27.83 price tag. Read more
