This trashcan is a really great size and shape with a decently modern look to it. The satin nickel finish fits most anywhere in my home. I purchased this to replace the smaller trashcan we have in our master bathroom. Having this size of trashcan allows easier use of throwing away larger bottles like hair products, etc. without filling up the entire trashcan in one use. When it’s close to full, we simply pull the trash bag out and empty all of the other upstairs trashcans into the bag and take one bag outside instead of making multiple trips up and down the stairs just to empty the trash, making the use of this type of trashcan in our bathroom very purposeful. The top pops off without any issues, but stays nice and tight while in use. This trashcan even comes with two carbon scent filters built into the top of the can to keep any odd smells to a minimum. This is a well made trash can with a slim design. I like that it has an open top for ease of putting trash in. It looks very nice in the room! It also has odor filters. I was worried that they would get in the way, but that has not been the case so far! Very nice value for the money and was better than anything that I found at the big box stores. Read more

**Update Dec 2023 - still loving this trashcan three years later! It’s held up, fantastically! *Update 3/4/2022 We’ve had this trash can for over one year now and I love it even more than before! It holds to a ton of trash. You can use 13 gallon or 16 gallon bags to pack even more trash in there. I was concerned with no top lid that there would be odors, but there aren’t. However, we have a family of four and usually fill up a bag quickly. The can itself has held up beautifully and we receive tons of compliments on it. Definitely a win with this one! Original post Jan 2021- I have searched for years and patiently waited until I found the perfect kitchen trash can. (Meanwhile, my black Rubbermaid was just fine). I came close to purchasing an open-top round can last year, but I knew round would not work in my kitchen. At last, I came upon this gem!! Who would get this excited over a trash can? Well, I am ecstatic! This can looks great! I was worried about the open top and having my trash visible. Nope, the design hides it from piling over. Also, it fits your standard 13 gallon trash bag and fills it up completely! No more half-filled bags. The carbon odor protectors really do work. I’ve thrown cans of tuna and raw chicken breast in there with no odors whatsoever! I’ve read complaints of these odor shields accidentally falling in the trash, but I haven’t had that issue. They lock on the sides of the can. If you’re on the fence, buy this trash can! I was afraid it would look like a huge commercial trash can in my tiny kitchen but I love it! I used to have round "Simple human" trash cans with a nice plastic internal can. I have been looking for a flat-sided version but apparently NOBODY makes these stainless trash cans with a plastic internal can anymore. I like the internal can because it is much easier to clean and has a sealed bottom. I just can't buy them anymore. I tried two of the NINESTARS OTT-50-19BK but they are absolute junk. the plastic lid barely fits and is popping off ALL THE TIME. I finally got fed up with this junk trash can and bought two of these. These iTouchless cans are very nice. The lid fits very well and covers the top of the bag so that it appears nice and sleek. it is also priced very well for what you get. it doesn't have the internal can like I wish it did, but apparently you can't buy them like that anymore from ANYONE. Edit: lowered to 4 stars be ause the charcoal holders, while a nice feature, get knocked off way too easily. Then, if you dont notice, they get thrown out with the trashbag. After 6 months, both have been lost this way. Replacements are available.... except they dont ship to Alaska, or they'll charge $30 to ship me a $15 item! Frustrating. Garbage can is still otherwise a good product. Arrived fast! Really nice looking - for a garbage can. :) I hate messing with lids - they eventually break and always get stuff spilled on them. I prefer an open top garbage & this one is really nice looking. The bag says secure & though I haven't used it long enough to know how effective they are, I like the idea of the charcoal filters to help with odor. Read more

I like this trash can so much better than having to deal with an annoying lid. It also seems to hold more trash. It is attractive. I guess the odor filters work well. I haven't noticed any bad odors but I don't let my trash sit around in my house too long. Read more
