So Happy that this is the "Original Ivory Soap!!" That Floats and has that great Smell I remember growing up as a kid in the 60's!! I was worried at first bc the packaging wasn't Like the picture in the description. But I opened it up and smelled that Soft pure scent that I remembered from taking a bath in an old wash tub at my Grandmama's House in North Carolina, and I was transcended back to that wonderful time!!❤️ The mood was perfect!! But did it Float?!! The answer was more than I could have hoped for.... YES, YES, YES IT FLOATS!! Picked up a bar of Ivory in a dollar store a few months ago and after trying it I was disappointed. Didnt have the great smell, didnt feel like the Ivory soap I remembered. Saw this in different packaging and said "original" so i bought it. Its great! This is the Ivory soap i used to use. Great smell and leaves you actually feeling clean. Here's the thing, I LOVE the original Ivory. The stuff that's 99.9% pure, has little to no scent, and floats. But now that Ivory went and changed formula to tma new "gentle" version that stinks and causes my skin to break out, I haven't been able to find the original Ivory anymore. I ordered this, thinking it was the original Ivory since that's what's advertised. I was sent that new "gentle" crap instead. I sent it back, because that wasn't what I ordered. I have used that new "gentle" version before and I hate it. The new "gentle" Ivory is terrible, breaks out my skin, smells awful, and doesn't float. I honestly don't know why they would even call it "gentle" now when it's terrible for a lot of people now, especially now that it's scented. The original Ivory was great for my oily, acne prone skin. It dimaje me sneeze, it didn't break out my skin. I don't know why they changed it, when the original 99.9% Pure Ivory was perfect the way it was. Read more

For a while I had been looking for a vendor that has the old formula for Ivory soap. I previously ordered from this vendor and got just that, I was super elated. Because they were one of the few people who has done so, I reordered from them. COME TAH FIND OUT, they are now selling the new plant based ivory which stinks and is nothing like the old ivory that I have been using for over 30 YEARS. This company is misleading customers and it's not right. They should replace the packaging in their photo so others aren't dupped into buying from them, SUPER misleading.
