I just got this in Mauve Taupe, and I am seriously impressed with the quality. The color is exactly what I was hoping for—a really pretty, sophisticated light purple/taupe that works well with everything. The material is fantastic; it’s a nice cotton blend that makes it soft, comfortable, and breathable. It’s a good, medium weight—not thin, but not overly bulky either. It's perfect for cooler weather. I love that it’s high-quality enough that it seems to hold its shape well. Just a tip: you probably want to skip the dryer with this one to keep it from shrinking. This sweater is exactly what I was looking for in an oversized fit. It’s relaxed, slouchy, and so cozy. There's nothing as cool and comfy as a cotton sweater. Unfortunately, cotton sweaters tend to look more like baggy burlap sacks after a few hours' wear. This IWD pullover starts out baggy by design, but keeps its shape partly due to its 40% acrylic content and partly due to the natural stability imparted by its cable knitting. (Cable knits are my all-time favorites in any case, but they're a godsend with cotton fibers.) The look is loose and casual, and you can picture this sweater slipping off one shoulder by accident or for style. In good weather, go braless, wear a strapless bra under it, or choose a sports bra whose straps become a feature of your ensemble. In cooler weather, slip it on over a tee shirt or cotton turtleneck. This sweater is definitely meant to be oversize, casual, and fun. It's true to size if that's the look you want. If you prefer something a bit more form-fitting, maybe go one size down.
