This yoga bag is both pretty and practical! It's large enough to hold my mat (with a convenient strap to keep it in place in an upright position), block, belts, and water bottle, plus there is a smaller pocket for keys and phone. The strap is perfect (and adjustable) to wear cross-body or slung over my shoulder. The tapestry fabric is also VERY pretty - I've gotten several compliments and a request for me to "make" one of these for another yoga student. (I was honest and gave her the Amazon link.) I'm VERY pleased with the quality of the bag and I hope to get many years of routine use from it. Read more

Works as intended and there is room for everything. I just feel like the strap is too long Read more
I spent a lot of time researching yoga mat bags before buying. It came down to really focusing on why I wanted a bag and what I wanted it to do. I was gifted a new Yoga mat that didn't stay neatly rolled when I rolled it up, and that was heavier than my old mat. I hadn't previously felt the need for a yoga bag, but the new mat was unwieldy and would come half unrolled in my car and had to be propped carefully at home to avoid spilling out across the floor in inconvenient places. However, I love the mat, so it occurred to me to get a bag to contain it. I had no idea yoga bags came in so many sizes, carry styles, designs and so on. It was easy to get sucked in to all the options, especially as I have a weakness for carry and storage items with extra space and pockets and so on. Early on I determined I preferred a bag that would keep my mat upright, parallel with my body. I was torn primarily between this bag and another (with loads more design options) that seemed to be more spacious. I measured my mat. I have a Jade Fusion mat (5/16" or 8mm thick) that is 74" long. It's both thicker and longer than a standard size mat. It's the same width as a standard mat though, so I determined it wouldn't stick any further out of a bag than any other mat. I measured the diameter with the mat rolled up and realized it would fit into the bottom of this bag. the other, more spacious bag I was looking at was tempting because it had more space for yoga blocks and so on than this bag has, but this bag came equipped with a strap that clips around my mat and ensures my mat won't unroll within the confines of the bag, which is what I believe would happen with a bigger bag. This is the point at which I realized I don't actually bring blocks to my yoga classes. The teacher provides blocks for us to use. So, I went with the bag with the strap that would hold my mat rolled up. I can tuck my yoga clothes into the bag beside the mat. My water bottle would fit in there as well. I've used the outer pocket for toiletry items before. I believe a yoga block would fit into this bag with a regular size mat. I appreciate the closer fit though since I don't have a ton of equipment I'm carrying around. I love the fabric and the design, and I've already had compliments on the bag. I do think I probably could have purchased a strap like the one this bag comes equipped with, and sewn it into a larger bag if I'd really needed to fit a couple yoga blocks in with the mat. Read more
Super spacious, love the extra pockets for keys & phone as well as the additional strap inside the bag to secure the mat. Clever. The material is a little rough (canvas I think), but i think it will be durable. Read more
Roomy, vibrant colors, quality construction. Use it to store gear— packed and ready makes it easy to lug around mat and accessories. Love adjustable strap and 3 pockets. Read more

This bag is great! I had been carrying a gym bag, yoga mat and purse separately for years, but this bag is a game changer. I asked my yoga instructor where she got her's, and this is it. It fits my mat, towel, belt, keys, phone and water bottle. The only thing that doesn't fit is my block, but I get one in class. The canvas is sturdy, and should last a long time. Read more
