If you’re looking for a basic mini skirt that you can wear to the office and afterwards for happy hour, look no further! This skirt is all kinds of perfect. I feel like it’s way harder than it should be to find basics these days. This is basic. No extra ruffles, buttons, sequins or nonsense like that. The fabric is great. It’s not suit material. It’s a nice cotton blend. Stretchy, but not made of too much synthetic material, so you won’t be sweating. As far as the fit, i ordered a medium but should’ve gotten a small. Small is my normal size, so the fit is true to size. The length is great too. Not too short, so you won’t have to pull it down all day. Meh. It’s not really a mini skirt in my eyes. It’s just not a long skirt. I don’t love the way it fits. It doesn’t do anything flattering. I’m not sure if that’s my body’s fault or the skirt’s fault but I’m not loving it. I do love the material and the color. It’s soft and kinda suede-like on top. But it just doesn’t fit well, it does that annoying “bell” looking thing off the back of the butt area. Maybe some people want that fit. The navy blue is nice. I might be a little picky. It sounds crazy but I have been looking for a A line skirt for a while that’s not body contouring or super tight. This is it. It’s black suade and has a little split. I really like the different style lines as well. Pros I love the color and texture. It’s perfect for fall and cooler weather. I like the length and shape especially. Cons It says it’s high waisted so if you wear it lower it will show in the skirt. It will buckle or pucker in a weird way. But other than that it’s a cute skirt. Read more
This skirt is a total win! It’s flattering, comfy, and incredibly versatile. I can dress it up for work with a blouse and blazer or throw on a tee and sneakers for a casual day out. Cute..more of a faux seude than courduroy as the description states..super stretchy-there is a zipper that I did not need to use to get this skirt over my curvy hips. I wear women's 8-10..xL was perfect. Despite being able to slide it on and off, I would not have gone down a size as I fear the skirt would ride up and/or be too short. This skirt has nice seams and darting, but I wasn't impressed by the fabric or lack of pockets. 5'7", long legs, barely passes fingertip test. Read more
This skirt exceeded my expectations. The vendor did not provide a size chart so I was taking a chance by ordering my normal size. I was relieved when it fit perfectly. I was also pleasantly surprised when I found that the vendor did not inflate and exaggerate the details of their skirt, which tells me how thoughtful they were in the details and design. The zipper is indeed invisible and does not disturb the form of the skirt. The fabric is very high quality considering the material. It is very thick, so it retains the shape as I move and drapes nicely. When I modeled it for my husband, his 1st response was, “is that suede?” Despite the thickness it does not retain heat, and stretches easily as I move. Very happy with my order. Great value. This skirt is advertised as a mini, and it is. It’s even shorter than I expected since I always assume the models in the ads are taller than me. At 5’5”, 125#, this skirt is super short. And the little slit in the front just emphasizes how short it is. It leans small in the size department, and I would definitely size up if you’re between sizes. The description calls the material corduroy, but it’s polyester. I think it will look adorable in the cooler weather with boots and tights/stockings. The color coordinated hidden zipper is a bit dressier, and the skirt is fully lined. Read more
It probably would have been nice to have size guidelines on the site. But for your reference, I ordered Medium for a waistline of 28.5 inches. No elastic on the waist line but has zipper at the back. It is on the shorter side and no inner shorts, so you may want to wear something inside. The slit on the left side makes is easier to move even of it is not really tight. It says corduroy but it feels suede. No pockets but it is soft and comfortable. It has lining and not see through. I am pretty happy with this skirt as it looks well made & not cheap at all.
