I can’t be bothered with putting clothes out to dry to minimize shrinking. I usually wear a L or XL for a more relaxed look. So i ordered a 3XL, put it in the washer and dryer and it fits perfectly! The pants are about 2.5 inches too long still but my sewing machine will take care of that. With all that being said, i absolutely adore these pants! It’s soft, and cut just right. Based on others' reviews I ordered 1 size up to accommodate my 45" lower hip (aka "low butt") in this low rise style. This bigger size fits my rear but has too much excess fabric at the front seam unless I pull the front waistband above my belly button. I emailed J&Ce about my crotch depth fit issue (front rise/back rise portions of the whole crotch depth seam measurement) hoping to exchange the pants I received. They were very helpful & measured 3 pairs of pants to provide to the front rise and back rise seam measurements, a 1.5" difference, way too small of a difference for my body type at any size, especially to be able to sit without pulling the back waistband down. My Return is already started but I'm still searching for a way to make the front rise of these pants 2" shorter (without reducing the inseam and thighs too much) to not have to return them. These pants are decent quality, and would be perfect for a tall, thin woman looking for an easy beach cover up pant. These are definitely ONLY for a cover up as they are extremely see through. The biggest disappointment was that they are extremely low rise (far below belly button). If you have any curve or hip at all - these are not for you. They did "FIT" me, but they are not flattering. They were also too long, and nothing is cute about white pants dragging on the ground and getting filthy. The idea of white beach pants/cover ups is great - but if that's what you're looking for keep looking - I promise there are better options! Read more

I searched for low rise linen or gauze pants which are typically a gathered waist. Although these are a little more expensive, they are well made and fit nicely. I am short waisted so pants that come to my waist always make me look like my boobs are sitting on my waist so that is why I always look for low waisted pants, they are much more flattering to my figure. I am 5' 9.5", 165lbs and ordered XL, which I really thought would be too large but they fit perfectly. I ordered the white first and loved them so much I ordered 2 more pair. They are somewhat shear, but I don't have a problem with underwear showing. I wear skin colored underwear under the white and they are not noticeable. They are light weight enough that even on a 90+ degree day I was not uncomfortable when I was outside (I do work in an office). Overall, I love these pants! Read more
