The term stained glass refers to coloured glass as a material or to works created from it. This isn't coloured glass its clear glass. The description indicates its both clear and stained....confusing. However, it is a nice piece. The design and materials give it an antique look. It's solid, sits squarely on my desk (all 4 of the ball feet are properly aligned) and the filigree and metal work are well done. At the price I paid... $14.95, its a very good value. Read more
The holder is made of beautiful glass and is very unique. I have ordered four to give as gifts and plan to order one for myself next! I am using them to hold Quotes of the Day rather than business cards. I wish the designer could make one that would hold more cards (quotes), but that's just because I'm not using them for business cards! Read more
Stylish and holds plenty of business cards. I like the crafted look of the lead and glass. One thing to note is that if you have dual printed sides on your business cards and the back is very dark (mine is black), you can't see as much of the detail of the glass from the back. That doesn't stop me from really liking the cardholder though. Read more
This item was packaged with care and arrived safely. Picking it up it has a nice weight and it just looks so beautiful and unique. I am looking forward to displaying my cards in these. If the seller were to ever make them in other colors I would definitely purchase again! Read more

I finally found a business card holder for my office that was not plastic, was decorative and timeless, and was wide/deep enough to hold a stack of cards that I accumulated over the years. The packaging was great -- it was wrapped in tissue paper then foam with an elastic band around it and inserted in a cardboard box. This is a nice vintage-looking card holder made with embossed clear glass (raised glass print on the inside). The holder I received looked painted black (or possibly tarnished?) where the product picture makes it look like the front embellishments are silver. I was disappointed with the black paint but find that the color is okay, not what I expected, but okay. The solder looks good. The measurements listed in the product description are different/smaller, mainly the width/depth. The outside width/depth is 1 3/4 in. not 2 1/4 in. as advertised. This is the main reason I purchased this holder as it would fit the stack of cards I have. They fit in the holder, but it would be nice to have more room for new cards. I contacted J Devlin Glass Art about the product finish and measurement differences that are advertised. They responded quickly stating the finish may look different in the photo due to the camera angle and that the advertised measurements are outside measurements. I was hoping they would send a holder that matched their description. In the end, I decided to keep this vintage-looking holder and it looks nice on my desk. Read more
This glass business card holder is exactly what I was looking for. It is made of textured glass and pewter solder. The glass is thick enough to be sturdy but thin enough to be feminine.
