The shelves came out of the package with the edges banged up, so I was not super thrilled from the get-go but was willing to just over look that. But then I got the whole thing unpacked and halfway put together before I realized one of the side brackets was welded upside down. The holes didn’t line up so it made the whole thing unusable. I don’t like my PC being on the floor. This stand helps raise the tower up for better airflow and also helped my situation with a stand up desk. Raising the tower made my standing desk work without getting longer cables for monitors. Bonus space below is great for a small battery backup. Read more

Amazon warned me before I purchased it that this item has a high percentage of returns -- and now I think I know why. The manufacturing tolerances are horrible, and I had to pre-tap the holes for every single connector. Assuming most people don't have their own metric tap and die set handy, this is probably the reason for the returns. Once assembled, this is exactly what I needed for my application... but be advised that getting the screws installed may be a frustrating and laborsome process. Read more
