I bought this to wear to a wedding. I ended up returning it - not because there was anything wrong with it but because it was just a little too dressy/sparkly for a daytime wedding outside. It really pretty, although made for someone with a small-ish bustline. It is also very long. Unless you are 5'9" or taller you will likely have to have it hemmed. Read more

I ordered two J Kara beaded gowns. Same size, same style, same brand. The blue one fits like a glove. It’s like someone took my measurements and made the gown custom for me. The wine color is two sizes too big and measures two inches bigger in the bust and four inches bigger in the waist/hips. I am hoping it was just mismarked so I sent it back and reordered another in the same size in hopes it will fit like the blue gown does. Thankfully my Amazon prime allows me to ship back at no cost. Beautiful slip on dress, spot on color, but these models must be 6 and a half foot tall! I am 5 ft 9 and this dress needs at least six inches taken off the bottom to keep it from dragging on the floor. I usually have the opposite problem with length. That is an easy fix but finding a seamstress in my little town may be a problem. The dress is comfortable, hangs well, fits nicely except for the extra length. Read more
