I've seen products like this before but hadn't tried one for myself until recently. I love the appearance of this set, and while I had planned to do some testing to confirm that it's authentic jade I haven't been able to do so yet. On the surface it is consistent with green jade, but I'll update this review once I've done a hardness test and checked it with a loupe. I like the feel of the roller, and while I haven't been checking carefully to see if I notice any positive change in the appearance of my face I also haven't noticed any negative effects. I've started using the gua sha even more though, since seeing my physical therapist use a smooth metal tool for working on my injured hand. This is much easier for me to use because it's lighter, so I can keep my hand feeling better between visits. The presentation is good, with the tools in a gift box that has some information on how to use the set. I'm glad to have this and I recommend it for personal use or as a gift. Read more

I received the item discounted through the 'Vine Program' or ‘Amazon Vine’. I have bought several throwaway self care items. This one I will leave out and use. I really like the weight (feels like a light massage) and definitely how cold it is to the face. In the mornings, instead of an eye mask you could use these rollers. I could actually see this having some sort of effect on the skin though you should be careful not to stretch, wrinkle, or create damage! There are instructions included which was a pleasant surprise. The rest piece is a bit too much for me I don't see the point but some might enjoy that. The box it comes with is nice for storage and can continue to be used as it is nice and presentable cardboard construction. All around, thoughtfully designed and well executed product which feels like it is doing something. This one was exciting to review. Read more

This is my first experience with a jade roller and gua sha, and I’ll need to use it for much longer (at least a full month, maybe more) to tell if it really improves the appearance of my skin. However, I’m already in love with the roller. I’m still trying to figure out the gua sha, but I intend to keep using both because it just feels good. Both items are very light and easy to use, though I’m not sure they’re real jade. The lid of the storage box has a diagram showing how to use the roller on the face and some general written advice on how to use the gua sha elsewhere on the body. I wish there were more instructions for that, but that’s easy enough to find on the internet. I got the set in green, and it’s a lovely color. I could definitely see giving this as a gift. My favorite thing to do with it thus far is to chill the set before use then use it smooth down a face mask. It’s simple, but it feels like a self-indulgent spa treatment.
