Sounds good—and, a good clamp (review has close-up photo of clamp)
Since I'm no pro I figured I'd be ok with a non-LP model. It's solid enough, sounds fine to my ears, and I like the well-made clamp. (see photo) Given heavy enough sticks, with this jam block you oughta be able to cut through the cacophony of every drum circle you'll ever attend. I couldn't figure out what inexpensive stand would work for it. Then I remembered the small lightweight tripod languishing in the basement. It has an exposed ⅜-16 socket, and a threaded ⅜-16 bolt fits the jam block's clamp perfectly. Easy solution, and it looks as if the clamp won't damage the threads. Now go thou and annoy a drum circle somewhere. :-) Read more
