Personal measurements: 33" waist, 40" hip Size ordered: 33" - 40" These belts aren't too bad. The colors are good, and the elastic has a moderate amount of stretch to it. The clasp is rather unique in that it is very simple, but I find it to be adequate. They did fit me well in the typical area where my jeans would rest, the only thing that did kind of throw me off is that there are no adjustment buckles. For the size that I got, I think they fit perfectly, but I'm worried about them eventually wearing down and becoming unusable because I can't adjust them. I love these belts! They're super chic looking in person and the buckle is not cheap looking, it looks and feels solid. They are good for holding pants up that are a little big and just adding a little flair to any clothes. I am curvy and like to sinch my waist when wearing dresses and longer lightweight coats and these do exactly what I wanted. These belts are pretty inexpensive, and for the price, they are a good value. The advertisement states they are leather, and I can’t tell if they are genuine leather or not. But they look nice and are not stiff plastic. So that is actually better than I expected. The stitching is solid and even. The colors are just as advertised. My waist is about 35 inches, and I ordered the 33’ – 40 “ size. The fit is good; it is almost loose, but that makes sense to me considering I am on the smaller end of that size range. The belt is not as snug as I would like, and there is no way to adjust it. I'm 180lbs, maybe if I were 200+ and thicker, it would be best. Yes, I realise it's made for women, but the belt doesn't know that. It will do in a pinch if I need to finish off my outfit. In my opinion, these are good belts, and a very good value. They seem stitched together well, with a stretchy body to the belt itself. I will wear them with jeans or my dressy black wide leg pants.
