Traditional corsets / waist cinchers can be very uncomfortable. This wide belt has a nice stretchy band for comfort. It is also nice and wide on the front which provides a nice flattening look. The size chart was accurate so go by your true waist measurements. The belt was very comfortable, had lots of stretch, and the snaps were secure. I ordered the black to guarantee it arrived on time but was pleasantly surprised that the imitation brown suede lining side could be worn as a reversible color option in a pinch. I don’t like having my body squeeze tightly, but I want my clothes to fit somewhat close so when buying these elastic belts, I just order a couple sizes larger so I know they’ll make room. I ordered the larger size possible. Hoping it wouldn’t be too tight because it all depends on where it’s made and their idea of an elastic belt being super tight or somewhat roomy. Another thing I like to do is to cut the back snaps and carefully so the two pieces of elastic together, so it’s not distracting I bought it for the decorated front not to have a funny back closure as well, it’s just a style thing. Also, if you buy the larger size you can wear it over a coat to help close it closer to your body around your waist and keep you warm while looking stylish. Read more
