I ordered a size up per some of the other reviews. That was a mistake because the belt was huge. It fell to the ground on the last hole. However, the tool and instructions included made the belt easy to shorten. I was nervous when I cut the belt, but now it fits perfectly. I have purchased this product several times over the years. Until my last purchase in February 2025 the belt's leather lasted about every two years. Today is the first of October, about 10 months after I purchased the belt, and the leather is already showing signs of deterioration. When I first received the belt I noticed the packaging wasn't as nice as the previous purchases that came in a box with a leather punch. This time it came in a plastic bag, but I didn't suspect that the product may also not be the same quality as previous years' purchases - but, sadly the leather is of cheaper quality. I know the price seems good for a leather belt - the previous purchases were also good prices, but they lasted through daily wearings for almost 24 months. When I received this NEW belt I saved it for the times I was leaving the house, so it hasn't been worn like the previous ones I wore daily - and yet - the leather is weak and beginning to separate. Quality and price combination are winners for me, but when the quality isn't there, then the product becomes, actually, more expensive. This belt comes with a leather hole punch which does an adequate job. The ability to size the belt is great. Both these two elements were the reason I originally chose this belt. I think I'll be looking for another belt with my next shopping adventure that has both Quality with a Fair Price. Read more
