This belt is very elastic but it’s not really thick so it doesn’t dig into your waist at all. You can adjust it quite a bit to make it shorter or longer. It’s not very heavy duty so it doesn’t weigh a lot. I bought the tan colored and went back for the black. I’m not a belt person but have lost a bit of weight and my pants are looser in the waist so these belts are perfect. They don’t roll over or get cinched up in the back. This is a great belt if you don't want something hard pressing into you. My niece particularly loved it while she was on a road trip recently noting her waist wasn't hurting by the end of the day from the constant pressure of buckle or leather. it's easy to take off and on. It fits through belt loops easily and is a great price for what it is. I imagine we will be buying more of these in the future. I'm interested in one myself now based off her experience. It's versatile as it can be worn with a dress, blouse or pants. My niece uses it to keep her jeans feeling secure. If it’s snug it rides up. When it’s loose enough to not ride up it doesn’t work as a belt. Good idea. Poor execution. Needs to be solid in the back and elastic on the sides. Bummer. Read more
