Pros: Strong pistachio flavor with noticeable nut content. Texture spreads smoothly for pastries and desserts. No palm oil keeps the ingredient list cleaner. Works well for kunefe, fillings, and breakfast use. Cons: Sweetness runs high for savory applications. Price feels premium for the jar size. Oil separation occurs after storage. Read more

It's got a really strong scent and is a bit overpowering at times, even with the super rich flavor it has. The cream itself is also relatively thick and is a bit like cream cheese with its consistency. There's a nice sweetness undertone to it with richness throughout and the classic pistachio taste adding to it all. The jar size is great for longevity, but you need to make sure you have a space to store it after opening and eat it relatively quick before it goes bad. It's also super easy to tell if the new jar is safe to eat or not due to the safety seals they installed, which adds peace of mind for sure. It also seals in flavors well when combined with other dishes. It's an okay value though since it can be overpowering for some, which is a big downside. Read more

I ordered the Jatisse Pistachio Cream – 30% Antep Pistachio Butter Spread – No Palm Oil – Sweet Natural Cream for Dubai Chocolate Bar, Pastries, Kunefe & Breakfast (17.6oz / 500gr) This is pretty OK tasting pistachio cream. I enjoyed it straight out of the jar with a spoon, but it would work great for layering and cookies or cake or using as a spread lots of options. Honestly, you can use this for. They do talk about the fact that there is headspace left in the jar, so I was expecting it to not be full. However, there was quite a lot of unfilled space, more than I was pleased with. I’m not able to weigh the product without the container so I can’t say if it’s Actually the correct amount of product in the container is just made bigger but it was a touch disappointing to see so much extra space at the top especially since it did taste pretty good. It says it’s good for vegetarians, but I do want to note that it does contain skim milk powder, and whey for anyone who might be concerned. Overall, the product did taste really good and the texture was really smooth and creamy. Pretty happy with the product. I just wish they had filled it a little bit more full. Also pro tip let it sit upright for a little while before opening it and then slide the protective lid off to scrape the cream off inside the container instead of lifting the protective lid straight up. Makes less mess. Read more

This pistachio cream is NOT light bright green in color. It is a very unappealing dark indescribable green. Most listing pictures are very misrepresentative. It contains vanillin, which is an artificial vanilla flavor. I wish they used real vanilla extract instead. Vanillin is a very cheap alternative. It also contains cottonseed oil which I do not eat. I did taste it and it tastes ok although way too sweet and has a slimy feeling texture in the mouth. The plastic strip safety seal around the lid is extremely difficult to remove. I had to snip it off piece by piece with scissors. The container is barely half full, but it is at full weight. I weighed it and with the plastic canister it is 575grams. The price it was when I ordered was twenty five dollars and no, I do not believe that is a good price. If it had all organic ingredients in it then I think they could charge almost this much but as it is, I think it should be about half the price it is marked. Read more

I got this pistachio cream to make my own Dubai chocolate. I haven’t done that yet, but I find myself snacking on this… I may not be able to make any before I eat it all! It’s extremely smooth and creamy. A family member said it reminded them of a white chocolate spread, despite not having any actual chocolate. I would actually agree, but again, no white chocolate. It somehow reminds me of a very popular hazelnut spread, despite pistachios and hazelnuts not be similar at all. The flavor is a sweet pistachio. There is a bit of a vanilla flavor, but mostly you just taste a rich pistachio. I found it worked really nicely on a French toast plate instead of the traditional maple syrup. The only real negative I can say is that it did settle and stick to the side of the jar. I would let it sit for a little bit before you open it, or you might accidentally stick your finger right into the paste when you do get it open. I would definitely get this again, and would recommend this spread to pistachio lovers. Read more

Product comes completely unsealed, just with a loosely fitting lid on the bottle. For something oily, you probably already know how it arrived, completely soaked and covered in oil. If these were sold locally and never got flipped and tossed around by Amazon, that probably wouldn't have been an issue, but you should know that when you put it on Amazon. Bottle itself is quite large, but only halfway filled. At least you get a large opening for scooping. Texture is quite thick, as the oil separated and settled after manufacturing, and then leaked out when it was left turned on its side at Amazon. Flavor and taste are still good though, and does not smell rancid or anything. Also appreciate that unlike all foods in the US, these actually tell you the percentage of the most important ingredient in the product. At 30% that's twice as high as the last pistachio butter spread I ordered, and these taste much stronger and richer as a result. Read more
