The only suggestion I have is add 2 or 3 times the amount that’s recommended to get a stronger coffee flavor. And layer a small amount of cream on top (~ 1 tablespoon). This made it very similar to ones I’ve had in restaurants. I used rum instead of vodka and it worked beautifully. I made a large batch and it stored really well in the fridge.
