The arm hole is the trick! Before, my arm would be numb or my shoulder was being crushed. My arm now lies in comfort through the hole, taking all pressure off of my shoulder joint. I have received this Shoulder Pain Relief Pillow a little over a week ago and I have been using this item for awhile now. At first I picked this item because I was looking for something to help me with my shoulder pain when i sleep at night .This item is the size of a regular pillow. I appreciate that this item is made out of cotton and I think that this made the item a bit more softer. I did not notice any sort of pungent smell upon opening and using this so I am quite happy with that since I do not appreciate items that come with a weird smell to it.
