I received the detector a few weeks ago and went over it a few time to learn the settings, etc. In the end it's pretty simple to use! Took it to a bnb for its first out of the house test. The bnb was sketchy upon arrival with a piercing odd vibe...and after the infrared camera detector setting went off continuously in every room... we got a hotel down the road. 😁 great little device that works great! I recently traveled out of the USA and was concerned that the hotel room might have cameras or hidden listening devices in the room. I purchased GUMOZU hidden camera detector a couple weeks prior to the trip and familiarized my with it's use. Once in the hotel room, I used each detection method and spent about 15 minutes scanning the room. Finding nothing ensured that the room was secure and most importantly private. One thing that would really be a plus to add to the kit would be a test device that emitted test signals for each of the test methods. This would help learn the detector and ensure it is working correctly! Overall the price, concealable size and functionality helped me choose this device! What I like about it it’s great size and super easy to use. To test it had two hidden camera setup by family member and went looking for them and was able to find them. Works to the product description and user manual. A word of caution for future users, it is mentioned clearly in the manual that IR mode has to be done in dark settings. If you are doing in day light, the intervention of sunlight will skew your test field. The sensor is really strong, make sure the sensitivity is set as recommended and all phone, transmitting devices are set to airplane mode while testing or you are subject to get false positives.
