I recently got my second light from Jaynt, and once again I’m extremely impressed with both the quality and the performance. I already own one of their other solar street lights to illuminate my driveway which has been working flawlessly for months, so I felt confident in getting another. This newer model not only lives up to expectations, but it has also exceeded them in several ways. The illumination is outstanding. At 6500K, the light is crisp and daylight-like, making my yard feel secure and clearly visible at night. It covers a wide area effortlessly, providing the kind of brightness you’d expect from hardwired commercial lighting, but with zero ongoing electricity costs. Even after a couple of cloudy days, the battery holds enough charge to keep it running well through the night. We live next to a busy road with a bus stop right next to our property, with a lot of trees and brush, so I like having the light to ensure nobody wanders onto the property who shouldn't be. That being said, the motion sensor is one of my favorite aspects due to the reason I just mentioned. It’s sensitive enough to pick up activity right away, instantly boosting the brightness, and then dropping back down to conserve power. The dusk-to-dawn setting has been equally reliable, automatically switching on at night and off in the morning without me ever having to think about it. I also appreciate the flexibility of the modes. It has manual, motion-only, or continuous, and the included remote makes adjusting brightness or timers simple and convenient. if I have people over in the back yard, I can ensure it is on continuous mode and provide plenty of lighting for my guests. One thing I've noticed Jaynt has been consistent with is build quality. This fixture feels heavy-duty and well-sealed against the elements. The weather in my area can swing from rain to high winds (we JUST had a big storm come through a few days ago with VERY high winds), and it has held up perfectly so far. The waterproofing and dustproof design give me peace of mind that it will last. Compared to other solar brands I’ve tried in the past, this one feels like it’s built to handle harsher conditions without issue. I feel confident it will be able to ensure our harsh New England winters, but I will update if not. Setting it up was straightforward and didn’t require any wiring, which makes it a great solution for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with electrical work. The mounting hardware is included, and while it’s a fairly large fixture, it was easy to get it secured. The most important thing is finding the right location for the solar panel to get full sun exposure (south-facing for me) during the day. Once that’s figured out, it’s pretty much set-and-forget. Overall, this light has been a fantastic investment and a perfect addition alongside the other solar lights I already own. The brightness, reliability, and overall ease of use make it stand out, especially given the value compared to similar products that often cost much more. It’s nice to see the quality of this brand's products be consistent across different models, and I’ll absolutely continue to choose them for future lighting needs. This light was better than expected. I love when I order something and that happens. We live on a ranch and lightning can be a huge help, but it’s always been a pain to run electrical cable on a ranch-size property. We’ve tried solar in the past too but finding a fixture that provided useful amounts of light and didn’t crumble in the first storm was a pipe dream. It’s been many years since our last try at solar. This light already had excellent reviews so we thought we would give it a try. I’m so glad we did! This light is extremely bright and powerful. It’s already held up in one of the worst storms we’ve had in the past decade. It was super easy to install, especially since we didn’t have to run cabling all the way out to it. It functions like a champ. We’ve got it set to motion detection so it runs at about 20% power unless it detects movement, which then increases the power to 100%. This is perfect because if we need to go out into the field, this turns the light on full power, or if a coyote comes to visit we get an alert, thanks to the bright light. The motion detection is one of my favorite features. The price point is a real bargain in light of our needs. We’re super happy with it and all of those positive reviews that sold us on this light were well earned. Read more
There are so many good thing about this new version solar light, but one thing makes a big different than older version which is price and tgey are almost 2 times pricier. First of all, this light is super bright because it has a big led pad. Second, you can leave it on motion sensor or Auto mode or just turn it on/off whenever you want. With the remote control, you can adjust the brightness or timmer, and Auto detection. In compare to older one, these are sealed better and they are completely IP67 and dustproof. Read more
I installed these lights in the parking lot of my smoke shop because it's always been very dark, and I didn’t want to deal with running electrical power to the outer areas of the lot. Installing wiring under asphalt would’ve been a huge hassle, which is why these solar lights were the perfect solution. Setup was incredibly simple. I just mixed some concrete, dug a hole, poured it in, set the pole, and let it cure. Once the pole was secure, I mounted the light at the top — that’s it. No wiring, no trenching, no headaches. The brightness is amazing and easily covers the entire area I needed. The dusk-to-dawn feature works flawlessly, and the remote control is a nice touch.
