I absolutely LOVED this speaker! It was purchased to play music in a busy and loud hospital kitchen. The sound quality was AMAZING!!! Staff morale was boosted, production was up, and often times ended with multiple dance parties!! Sadly, even though proper care was given, “red” as staff named it, caught on FIRE at the charging port, luckily someone smelled it and got the fire out before damaging the kitchen!!. Sad day for my kitchen crew 😭. Once I can save the money I plan on getting a new Charge 5. Sadly with Christmas, I just don’t have the money to spare. Purchased a Flip 5 as a cheaper replacement and it’s awful! No music for my kitchen crew for now. Read more
Very happy with how good the speaker sounds for the size. I have a larger model JBL, which does sound better, but isn't as convenient. Note: Another user gave a 1 star review because of the case calling this item a knock off. The case is from Boomph, perfectly holds the JBL and is a BONUS provided at no additional charge. Stop buying your $20 Walmart speakers and just get a good quality speaker. Download the JBL app too and you have a EQ to mess with and you can install updates to your speaker to increase the quality. I connected it to my TV and it sounds like a whole stereo setup. The battery life is really long. The speaker also gets really loud. The charge 5 looks identical to the extreme 3 besides the size of it. Read more

Awesome speaker with great sound. USB cord out of box was bad. Getting ready to return but tried another cord and it charged up so will see how it goes. Not sure on battery life at this time… 5/7 Follow up the battery does not last as described. Maybe 5 hours… more like 3 hours. Not happy going to return it. 5/10 Battery last 5 hours. I cancelled the replacement and want a refund of this item. Taking too long for replacement and not happy with Amazon response time. Read more
