Having a JBL GO 3 previously, I got another to replace my lost original one. Then purchased another as a gift for a family member. These little suckers are rugged and can take a real beating. After dropping it in water, covered in sand, being knocked around, boy does it still hold up like he first day I’ve used it. The sound quality packs a punch, enough bass but not too much. Very clear highs and rumbly bass notes are discernible. Fast charge, many times I’ve charged it for 15 minutes and got a good hour or so out of it. Actually saw this on a YouTube video by some tradesman who was going over his tool bag load out. This was described as a must-have, and he mentoned he often used it on a solo jobsite to listen to streaming music from his cell phone (can also use it to play YouTube music videos, etc.) Use it in similar fashion doing projects around the house - also great to take cell phone calls without having to put your tools down, etc. - or if you just want to chill out and listen to the music. Very good tonal quality considering the size. USB-c recharge port - doesn't last quite the 5 hours if you really crank it up - but pretty close. My idea behind this purchase was to have a Bluetooth speaker in my ski jacket pocket that provided great sound in a small package. I also prefer convenient control so when I'm around people i can quickly turn it down or pause to be respectful. This spkeaker is the ticket.
