I went from 2 310’s to this because I wanted to keep with the batteries. The second I turned this on it had a rumble to it, so that was a huge difference. It is noticeably louder plugged in than not.It has a very nice rumble even at conventional level that still shook the glass on my hutch. I turned it halfway up and play thunderstruck by ac/da as my song test and I could hear it across the street. It was PERFECT. It is a little more difficult to move around because it doesn't have a telescopic handle like my 310 but the wheels do well, and its twice the weight. I like this speaker a lot. I have a PartyBox 120 and two PartyBox 320. When the 720 price came down I bought it and sold one of the 320. The 720 sound is very good, the bass is more powerful the lights are a show by themselves. I used the 120, 320 and 720 for my last karaoke 🎤 the sound and lights were impressive.
