Customers say
Customers praise the speaker's sound quality, noting it's noticeably louder when plugged in and has superb resonance.
Great quality and clarity, very loud. Read more
I went from 2 310’s to this because I wanted to keep with the batteries. The second I turned this on it had a rumble to it, so that was a huge difference. It is noticeably louder plugged in than not.It has a very nice rumble even at conventional level that still shook the glass on my hutch. I turned it halfway up and play thunderstruck by ac/da as my song test and I could hear it across the street. It was PERFECT. It is a little more difficult to move around because it doesn't have a telescopic handle like my 310 but the wheels do well, and its twice the weight. I havent tested the battery by itself yet but i’ll update when I do. Overall I’m so pleased I bought this!! Read more

This speaker is amazing! Sooo loud! Deep bass!!! I had it outside playing Halloween music for the trick or treaters and the neighborhood loved it. So many people asked me about what kind of speaker it was and the cost. A great buy. Read more
The media could not be loaded. My Honest Take on the JBL PartyBox 720 Look, I’ll be straight with you: if you’re looking for something to play quiet background music while you read a book, stop reading now. This isn't for that. The JBL PartyBox 720 is basically a portable nightclub that you can throw in your trunk (though you might need a gym membership to lift it). Here’s the good, the bad, and the "wow" after testing it out. 1. The Sound: It Hits Hard The first thing you notice is the power. The spec sheet says 800W and "JBL Pro Sound," but in human language, that means the bass literally kicks you in the chest. It has massive woofers (bigger than the previous model, the 710), and you can tell. I threw some heavy EDM and Hip Hop at it, and it didn’t distort even when I got excited and cranked the volume near max. The highs are crisp, too—they don’t get drowned out by the bass, so vocals stay clear. 2. The Game Changer: It Finally Has a Battery! If you knew the old model (the 710), you know its biggest flaw was that it always had to be plugged into a wall. The 720 finally cuts the cord. They promise 15 hours. In my experience, at "real party" volume (loud and with the light show on full blast), I got a solid 10-12 hours, which is enough to finish the party or until the neighbors call the cops. Plus, the battery is swappable; if you're hardcore, you can buy a spare and swap it out in seconds. 3. The Lights: Not a Gimmick These aren't those cheap little LEDs you see on budget speakers. The light show is actually hypnotic. It has trails, a "starry night" effect, and strobes that genuinely sync with the beat. At night, you literally don’t need extra lighting in your backyard or living room. It gives off a very cool "futuristic" vibe that people just stare at. 4. Portability: The Reality Check Okay, they say it’s portable because it has wheels and a handle. And yes, the wheels are sturdy and roll smooth, but let’s not kid ourselves: this thing is a beast. This isn't the speaker you carry for a mile-long walk to the beach. It’s meant to go from your trunk, to the pavement, to the party spot. Once it’s there, it rules, but moving it is a workout. 5. Can it handle a mess? Yes. It’s splashproof (IPX4). This means if someone spills a drink on it or if it starts drizzling outside, it’s fine. But be careful: it’s not waterproof. Do not throw it in the pool. The Human Verdict The JBL PartyBox 720 is expensive, big, and heavy. But if you are the type of person who loves being the life of the party, or if you host events where you don't always have a power outlet nearby, it is worth every penny. The Best: The bass is monstrous. Total freedom with no cables! (The battery is the upgrade we needed). The lights set the mood all by themselves. The Worst: Your back will hate you if you have to carry it up stairs (use the wheels!). It’s a serious investment, not a cheap toy. Read more

Excellent speaker. Super powerful with low distortion. Easy to connect either Bluetooth or direct line. The only drawback is that it is heavy. It is understandable since it must have large heavy magnets for the subwoofer. If you need a lot of power, this is a good speaker!!! Read more

Best portable loudspeaker that i have ever buy i give 10 of 10 and compare with the soundboks 4 the jbl 720 partybox is more powerful and louder it has lights show plus also you can buy multiple batteries to keep the party nonstop.. the only cons that I have is that is a little bit heavier but it doesn't matter to me because it has 2 wheels to move around .. jbl sound it's superior 👌 👍 Read more
I like this speaker a lot. I have a PartyBox 120 and two PartyBox 320. When the 720 price came down I bought it and sold one of the 320. The 720 sound is very good, the bass is more powerful the lights are a show by themselves. I used the 120, 320 and 720 for my last karaoke 🎤 the sound and lights were impressive. The 120 I take to the beach ⛱️ people love it. I bought an extra battery for the 120 because at the I played loud. The upgrade worth it... Read more
