Great sounds for music and movies
I updated to this product and is definitely worth the money. The sound quality is open and natural and matches my JBL L880. It’s better then the Klipsch which sounds harsh. I’m happy with this product. Read more

WARNING: The 665C is an $800 piece of unserviceable/unrepairable e-junk outside of warranty so you'd better hold onto your receipt & pray nothing goes wrong with it outside of the limited warranty period--otherwise JBL and their off-shored "customer service" will NOT help you and you'll be left with a useless brick. This center channel speaker was great while it lasted! And then right around the three year mark, the compression driver stopped putting out sound (and no, I didn't blow it--this was used in a 5.1 bedroom setup at relatively low volumes). This is where the fun began. First JBL was giving me flack about not having the original invoice for my 665C so I gave them the serial number for them to verify that it was indeed purchased from an authorized dealer. Seemingly satisfied, they then gave me a list of authorized service centers to ship the 665C to--on my dime, of course. Luckily I decided to call these places first, and ALL of them told me the same thing: That the 665C has a sealed design and therefore cannot be repaired! It can only be replaced. So I called JBL back and relayed this info to them (which they should've already known!) only for them to refuse a replacement because I don't have my OG sales invoice. Their advice? Just buy a new one. Like I would pay $800 for another 665C knowing it's unrepairable e-junk? JBL (or whatever cheap outsourced foreign call center they've got fielding their calls) wouldn't even offer me a discount on a replacement 665C which seems like the very least they could do! If you buy this thing, just be aware of the fact that if anything goes wrong with it after your warranty expires--that's it! You can't even get it repaired on your own dime. It's an $800 brick that has to be hauled off to a landfill. And JBL calls this their "luxury" line? How embarrassing! Read more
