I was looking for a medical grade felt padding similar to what my podiatrist has been using to build up some areas in my shoes. This roll was exactly what I needed. I cut it to the size and shape I need to adjust my shoes myself. It sticks well, and even though the thickness is perfect, the felt can be peeled back in layers if a thinner sheet is needed. The roll is large and will last a long time. Itβs a bit of a challenge to separate the backing from the adhesive layer, but if you pinch a section into a tent shape, itβs easier to find a separation point. Read more
The media could not be loaded. The quality of the product seems to be as good as you could hope for, but depending on your intended use it may or may not work for you. Observations 1) the weave (?) of the material is solid as in it doesn't delaminate under use nor does it pill or powder/disintegrate. Observation 2) the adhesive is solid 100% which was a pleasant surprise. For example when I take the padding off of the bottom of my foot the fabric mesh comes off without the adhesive and then I need to lift up an edge with my thumbnail and then it removes fairly easily. Observation 3 the padding does move laterally. For example of you were to pinch it between your fingers and then move your finger and thumb in opposite directions while pinched the padding on the top will move one way and the padding on the bottom will move the other way. Observation 4) the 1/4" padding compresses by approximately 1/2 of the total volume or 1/8". I bought this to make my own metatarsal pads because they are so expensive. I use 3/8" pads usually, but metatarsal pads are more dense and don't compress or move as much laterally. I was successful in making my own by cutting and layering two pads. After the compression it was close enough to actually work. Read more

I have a 28 inch bass drum that couldn't be tamed with the thin felt strips that are designed to lay between the bearing edge and the inside of the head. These are much heavier AND self-adhesive. I sized it and cut it so it does not interfere with head to shell contact. I cut a thinner strip for my standard size kick drums. Not really sure what is was intended for, but works great for this!!! I bought this to put in sandals as I have a thin, skinny feet and most sandals swallow my feet. The end result was what I was trying to accomplish. Meaning, the sandals now fit and you canβt see the padding. The reason for 3 stars is the sticky backing. The first strip I cut to fit, it took me 30 minutes to get the backing off. The 2nd strip I cut took the same amount of time. I wish this was easier to remove. Read more
