I picked it up to use for air travel. It is pretty small. I would say it fits best around the base of the neck and above. I have had many a travel pillow and this is the smallest. I would not be confident for a large head if your looking for a way to move side to side Second think was pulling open Velcro on both sides the ends came undone. Not good craftsmanship. Will still work but you can see in pictures what happened. What I liked Came with ear plugs Pillow came in a bag for easy travel in a backpack. Came with eye mask but something I would not use. Bottom line this pillow is something I probably would not buy again due to its size. I will be using it a few more times in the car to see if I can find a way to make it work. I'll update the review. I'm on the fence about how this fits me/my neck, but I'm going to try it on an actual flight to make a fair assessment. So far, I just tried it on a chair, and i feel like it's too stiff for me, as I can't make it feel like it isn't pushing my head down and making my neck bend in a weird way. I'm wondering if this will be different in an airplane seat. As far as the quality, it does seem very well made, and I like that it comes with a nice pouch that it fits into compactly. It's also easy to get it in and out of the pouch, which is nice, as you don't want to be struggling with that at the end of a flight. it seems a little pricy at around $35, but if it truly works well on a flight, that will be well worth it.
