I picked these up because I wanted an easy summer pant I could throw on for errands, travel days, or a beach dinner without looking like I’m wearing pajamas. The selling point for me was the combo of pleats + barrel leg + drawstring—more intentional than basic linen pull-ons. In real wear, the fabric feels like a cotton-linen blend that leans breathable. They’re not “crisp trouser” pants—more relaxed and drapey—so the vibe is casual first, but the pleats help them look put-together enough for a clean tee and sneakers or a short-sleeve button-up and sandals. The barrel leg shape is the standout: roomy through the thigh with a subtle taper that gives shape without clinging. If you’ve worn straight linen pants that just hang like curtains, these are more styled than that. What I like • Breathable, warm-weather friendly feel (good airflow vs. heavier cotton joggers). • Barrel leg cut reads modern and intentional, not just oversized. • Pleats add structure, especially if you’re wearing a simple top. • Drawstring waist is comfortable for sitting, eating, travel, and long days. • Easy to dress up or down depending on shoes. What I don’t like • Expect wrinkles. This is linen behavior, but it’s still something you’ll notice. • Sizing can be tricky with “baggy” cuts—if you’re between sizes, the difference can look dramatic. • Depending on color, lighter shades may show pockets/underwear more than you’d want. • The drape is casual, so if you want sharp, office-trouser structure, this isn’t that. Fit and styling notes (how I’d shop it) These are meant to be roomy. If you want a true baggy, streetwear look, go with your usual size. If you want them relaxed but still clean (less volume), sizing down can work—as long as the waist still sits comfortably and the pleats don’t pull. The taper at the leg opening is what keeps them from looking sloppy, so they pair well with low-profile sneakers, slides, or sandals. If you throw on chunky shoes, the silhouette can get very “fashion,” which may be exactly what you want. Compared to similar pants Compared to basic linen drawstring pants (the ones that are just a straight tube), these look more elevated because of the pleats and barrel shaping. Compared to more structured wide-leg trousers (like dressier cotton twill), these are lighter and more relaxed, but they won’t look as crisp by the end of the day. Think “vacation trouser” rather than “tailored trouser.” Common buyer concerns Do they feel hot? Not in the way thick cotton can—this is the type of fabric I reach for when it’s warm out. Do they feel see-through? Dark colors usually avoid this. With lighter colors, I’d treat them like any linen pant: choose neutral underwear and don’t expect total opacity in direct sunlight. Do they shrink? With cotton-linen blends, I assume some shrink risk if you use high heat. I’d wash cold and air dry (or low heat) to keep the length and waist consistent. Value For the look you’re getting—pleats, modern silhouette, breathable fabric—these feel like solid value for a summer rotation. They give you that “styled but effortless” lane without needing a full outfit plan. Verdict Ideal for guys who want a comfortable summer pant with a modern silhouette—vacation, weekends, casual dinners, travel, and anything warm-weather. I’d buy these again in a second color, especially in a darker shade for the cleanest, most versatile wear. My rating lands at 4 stars: great concept and silhouette, but linen wrinkles and sizing variability are the two things you’ll want to be ready for. Read more
My wife and I travel quite a bit to the Dominican Republic and I am always looking for nice comfortable clothes to bring down there because it is always hot and humid. Got these assuming they would be just what I was looking for and while they are comfortable the leg area is in my opinion just to baggy. I am already an overweight guy and these baggy pants make me look enormous. Granted I must ad they are extremely comfortable, and I could just fall asleep when wearing these on the deck, but I just wish they fit better, and I already got an extra large as opposed to a 2XL (thank god for that). I cannot imagine if I would have gotten that larger size what they would have looked like. Read more
I have been wearing these pants during warm days and casual outings, and they feel immediately comfortable from the first wear. The cotton linen blend is light and breathable, which makes a big difference in heat, especially for travel or lounging. The fabric drapes nicely instead of clinging, and the barrel leg shape gives plenty of room to move while still looking intentional and styled rather than sloppy. The drawstring waist is easy to adjust and stays comfortable even after hours of wear. What I like most is how versatile they feel in real life. I have worn them with a simple t shirt for errands and also paired them with a cleaner top for dinners or beach walks, and they work both ways. The pleats add a subtle structure that elevates the look, and the overall fit feels relaxed without looking oversized. After washing, the fabric softens even more and still holds its shape well. These are the kind of pants you reach for when you want to feel comfortable but still look put together in warm weather. Read more

Yes these are in the men's section but I had to try them just to see if I'd get the baggy wide leg feel. These pants delivered that and more. The fit was perfect and the draw string waist gives shape to the baggy look. They are very comfortable and give off a bohemian look. The quality is really good and they're very lightweight. The seeming down the front give a true barrel design. Read more
I'm a woman and I like these for myself. They're really comfortable. I paired them with a crop top and loafer type shoes. I feel like you could also dress them up with heels and a small top. It's plenty of room if you need space for your hips/bottom area. Also when I washed them, they didn't shrink. The pants also has a little weight to them, so I wouldn't say they're a light. Read more
