Lightweight device, spray pattern is good, had to fiddle with o-rings to get a good bottle fit.
The media could not be loaded. The Reason for Selection: When dispersed camping / backpacking sometimes I miss using my bidet that I have at home. This was selected to see if it fills that niche. General observations: After doing a few not so dry runs in the bathtub I will say this earns a spot in my backpacking "poop kit". The nozzle does direct a good enough spray pattern to do effective clean up. I like that when you stop squeezing the bottle, it does refill with air to give your region another blast of cleaning. However, with that air, what ever lands on the nozzle can get pulled into the bottle. The kit comes with a number of different size o-rings. After trying different combinations I found a good set to work with a standard sized smart water bottle. Adding a bit of plumbers silicone grease to the o-rings helped with fitting the device in the bottles. The Good: This device weighs in at 16 grams / 0.6 oz, this is a weight penalty I am willing to carry if it works well in the woods. The Bad: While it is bordering on unhygienic to use the same bottle for drinking water that you would for a bidet, I will have to carry a dedicated soda bottle to use with this device. This is not a fault of the device so does not affect my rating. The Ugly: Nothing Ugly. Value for Price: From my perspective and experience, the price is fair. Read more
