This would literally be the perfect baby ointment with the addition of a safety seal. That said, there isn’t a safety seal or any foil closure so I’ve been using it as a salve for myself and I love it! It’s got a thick consistency that stays put and is super moisturizing without being petroleum based and is the first castor oil based ointment I’ve come across, which is pretty neat! My sensitive skin loves this stuff and even one tiny dot of it is enough to go a long way, so this stuff with last a long time. Can’t recommend more as a soothing salve/balm — just add a safety seal for the kiddos, please Jergens! We will be keeping a stockpile of this nifty stuff for the household. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this to use for myself. Both me and my boyfriend have shredding dry chapped lips, we used a lot of balm monthly. But we grew tired of lanolin and full of chem products (which only have temp result but darken my lips and make it dull). So I give this a try. Very good for dry skin and area, safety to use.
