I'm a true Large, and I had to return my original order because at first it was almost too tight, but I thought I could make it work. It wasn't uncomfortable. But after I washed it, it shrunk about half a size and it was uncomfortable to wear. I liked the style and material, so I reordered an XL and washed it immediately without trying it on first. It fit perfectly and was very comfortable. I'll be ordering more for work. I ordered Deep Purple, and though it is a darker shade of purple, it's not nearly as dark as it appears in the photo. After reading several reviews, I learned that this shirt tends to run small so it might be best to order a Size up. And so I DID because with the shirt being fifty percent cotton, I wanted to allow for shrinkage. I washed and dried the shirt and there was NOT very much shrinkage and so the shirt ended up still being too large. Quality-wise, I was disappointed with the see-thoroughness of the shirt. I held it up to the Light after taking it out of the dryer and I could see through the shirt as if it contains a very low thread count. Read more
