I have written many reviews for the L pocket skirt over the years because I have bought a whole lot. All the reviews are basically the same. These skirts are not consistent. They tend to fit big but there was a case where I ordered a 14 and a 16 and when they arrived they were both the same size. I do not live in the US, so I can not just return it if it doesn't fit. It is alright for me because I am a seamstress and know how to alter, but if you do not know how to sew, that would be a problem for you. They tend to be roomy in the thighs/butt and go in smaller at the waist. So if you have an 'apple' shape, you'll probably find that if it fits at the waist, it will be too big in the thighs. Well why do I buy them at all? Because modest jean skirts are hard to come by these days and also, there is usually a nice selection of colours as well. I do wish the sizing was more consistent so it would take the guess work out of ordering. ONE MONTH LATER: I had to change the stars from 3 to 1. In the past usually a skirt would last at least a year before the zipper would start giving trouble to stay up. I have not had this skirt for a full two months yet and the zipper pull broke off all together. I am writing these reviews in hopes that SOMEONE will read these and do something about the quality and fit of these skirts. PLEEEAAASSSEE!!!???!!! NOV 30, 2014 I think that it is only fair to update this review because originally I had given it a 3 star because the fit was not consistent, then I lowered it to a 1 star because several skirts in a row had zippers that would not stay up or broke all together. I am rating this now at this time, a 4 star because in the last year I have had several of these skirts and they have been much more consistent in size (they still fit a shape that has a smaller waist than hips), and the zippers have been MUCH better. Runs small or at least vastly different from other garments this size in my closet. Quality fabric exceptionally nice. Return/customer service either ambiguous or they didn’t understand my request to return the garment without a shipping cost. I’m not going pay for shipping That’s why I have a prime account and I pay plenty for it Consequently I am keeping the skirt for now. Size up. Ordered for a friend, measured her hips. She was between sizes by about an inch on either side. Ordered the larger one which fits perfects. For a petite woman, the the skirt hits at ankle length - perfect. Love that it is classically styled denim skirt and does not have the fake wrinkles or variegated wear marks. However. Shipping took FOREVER. Half of the package weight was taken up with random catalogues for different brands. Read more

Super cute but NOT true to size! I normally order a US size 10 ladies these I ordered a size larger because they are 100% cotton and new out of package they were way too small in hips, waist and thigh area. Length was good, I'm 5'8". Color is good too just not USA sizing. I also ordered these in several different colors (3) and all had the same issue. Runs very small. Read more
