No assembly required. The organizer comes as 1 solid piece, which I prefer because removable dividers inevitably get stuff trapped underneath because they are too wiggly to stay put. The clear plastic makes it very easy to see everything side from all angles. The plastic is thick and durable. It organizes several small things on my desk perfectly. Who knew 3 simple little plastic organizers could allow me to fit so much conveniently in my small medicine cabinet. This one in particular I use for nail polish. When I need polish I pull the tray out, grab my polish and set it back in the cabinet. Everything is so organized and super convenient to access!
