This thing works great. I have used it both over my jet boil stove and a SOTO wind master, and it makes eggs great with an excellent non-stick coating. The integrated spatula in the handle is a plus. Apart from the weight, it is an excellent pan for frontcountry camping or when weight is less of a concern backpacking. on the trails Read more
I was hesitant to purchase this because of the price of it, but I can say I don't feel any buyers remorse now that i've used it. It really is a great little pan for use on the Jetboil systems. I used with on the Minimo and cooked bacon, toast, grilled cheese, an upside down cake (the one from Jetboils YouTube channel - it was amazing, I just set an aluminum plate I had over it to act as a lid), and a few other things. The bottom line, NOTHING sticks to it. I didn't pre-oil the pan before cooking a few things and literally nothing stuck to it. It's so nice and slick. I really loved that it came with the spatula and that it fits right in the handle. When taking it out of the packaging don't forget to grab out the storage bag. I almost threw it away not realizing it came with that. While it's a little spendy for a skillet, if you like to have nice items to camp with, I full recommend splurging on this. I normally have a small cast iron I bring with me to cook in on the campstove (i'm not a campfire cooker) and I think I might ditch that because I didn't once reach for it when camping all last week. As I said, I used it with the Minimo and pot stand accessory and they worked fantastic together. Read more

I always viewed coated non-stick pans as a necessary evil. While cooking in the wild, so many times I wished I had a non-stick pan anyways just cuz it is such a great shortcut sometimes. But all I've ever seen are cheap low quality non-stick or ones with straight sides that made saute work a real pain. So far this expensive little pan has proven to be a real asset. It isn't ultralight, it isn't inexpensive, but it fits the niche I have been looking for for over 40 years backpacking. You don't need it for freeze dried or rehydtrating meals or warming up MREs. But if you want to turn out some over easy eggs or a decent little omlette or fresh hashbrowns or a couple nice pancakes or a quick saute, and you want to be able to literally wipe the pan clean with a paper towel when you are done, this is the one. I've used mine a dozen times now. The bomb diggity was searing a fresh caught salmon fillet for lunch with just a nice teriyaki glaze and some diced turnips at fish camp. I had to backpack everything but the salmon in to camp, so bringing this along was well worth the load and the money. As far as durability goes, it is as good as any of my non-stick pans at home. Keep the metal out of it, and it won't scratch or wear. Cook using medium heat or lower and it won't degrade. I am getting too old to be packing my good cast iron and stainless into the woods. As much as this costs, I am still recommending it. There's nothing else out there like it, yet. Read more
Great skillet. The nonstick is very good. Heat distribution is great. Used it with Jetboil Flash Java 1.0. Just the right size for frying 2 eggs. Read more
nice little skillet, even for home use. don't get it too hot, backpacking stove flames can damage the orange finish. Read more
I was skeptical that a tiny pan would be worth its price. I was thoroughly impressed; however, by how evenly it cooked and more so how well the nonstick surface worked. Made clean up so easy so I didn’t have to use much camp water. I liked the utensil it came with as well. I liked how it snapped into the handle for packing away. Jetboil just makes great products. I don’t have many of their items but the ones I have are reliable, compact, lightweight and do what they’re designed to do. As an outdoorsman I just need my gear to work and be reliable. This meets my requirements. Read more
