BUY IT! DON'T THINK ABOUT IT! Amaaaazing!
I have wanted to write this review for a while but wanted to have enough time on my hands because I knew it was going to be long. Ever since I was allowed to have a cellphone at around 16/17 I have broken EVERY screen on EVERY phone I have EVER had. It's an ongoing joke with my friends to leave phones with me and check if their covers/protectors are Sarah-proof. It has not ended well on numerous occasions. I ordered this cover just to put something on my new iPhone XSMax, while I ordered the infamous 'Lifeproof' case. I am SHOCKED at how resistant this case is, how slim it is and how nice my phone looks (not bulky etc). I went to Rome and tripped inside the Colosseum and my phone FLEW and landed on the rocks and NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH to my screen. I almost cried. My phone has face planted on my busy NYC streets, I've dropped it on stairs, it's landed on every possible corner and my phone is in PERFECT state. I cannot get over how good this is. If you needed a sign to buy an $8 phone case THIS IS IT. Get it, I promise it's that good! Read more

Solid case and great price
So far, I'm liking this case. It seems to offer a moderate amount of protection (I would feel ok with dropping this from shoulder height occasionally). The design seems pretty straight forward, although oner of there speaker holes is wider than it needs to be (the case is symmetrical, but the microphone isn't as wide as the speaker on the XS Max). Also, the lip on the back of the case is somewhat of a two edged sword. The raised lip (pictured) does protect the camera or back of the iPhone from ever laying flat on the ground, BUT I also noticed that when I felt the phone in my pocket, I couldn't notice which side was the front or the back before pulling it out (the raised lip is the same height on the front and the back). So it's good, but a little annoying. Also, this case is extremely tight on the iPhone. There is absolutely no way the phone would ever "accidentally" slip out of the case. This is a good thing, but also makes it a little tricky when trying to put the phone into the case or taking out. It takes "coaxing" to get it in our out. Overall, excellent case for the price.
