I really need to be better at paying attention to product details before buying something, because I was surprised to find out this was also a lunch box. I thought it was just a really cute purse! (Yes, I know—it’s in the name. I have no excuse.)The bag itself seems to be made of high-quality pleather. I have a hard time believing it’s real leather—though I could be wrong—but it feels like very high-quality faux leather. The stitching on the bag is immaculate, and there isn’t a single raw edge anywhere.It can be carried by the handles like a handbag or with the included side strap. The side strap isn’t quite the same level of quality as the rest of the bag—it’s not bad, just noticeably different. The contrast between the fabric and leather stands out right away.The metal hardware has an oddly cheap feel. It’s definitely metal, And it is not weak easily bent metal, but it almost feels like there’s plastic mixed in somehow. (Something to do with the fact that It is not cold to the touch )That said, the zippers are actually quite nice quality and work smoothly.The packaging was impressively efficient and protective without being wasteful. Each delicate part—like specific clasps—was covered with a bit of plastic to prevent scratches, and the handles were padded to protect against wear, yet there wasn’t a single piece of unnecessary packaging. It was thoughtful, careful, and very eco-minded, which I really appreciate.The bag has three large compartments. The first compartment (on the left when facing the bag away from you) is padded, so I assume it's meant for electronics. It also has a small sideways pocket. I’ve heard that type of pocket is sometimes meant for concealed carry, but considering this is a global seller and the pocket only fits my hand, I doubt that’s the intent. It’s much more likely designed for a phone or wallet, which makes more sense.The middle compartment is the insulated one meant for lunch. It’s surprisingly spacious—big enough that I can’t imagine it being meant for just one person’s meal. The third compartment (to the right) is also roomy, with a zippered section and an open pocket. Interestingly, that one is insulated too, probably so you can keep hot and cold foods separate.All in all, this bag is absolutely amazing. I originally bought it as a Christmas gift for my best friend, but now I’m seriously tempted to keep it for myself. (I probably won’t—but if I don’t, I’ll definitely be ordering one later.) This might be one of my new top bags to use often. I knew that it had an area to keep things cool but it also has a spot for warm items as well. That compartment is much smaller though, which is the only reason why I docked a star. Im able to fit an entire lunch for myself in the middle insulated part, snack, ice pack and drink. I don’t like leaving my lunch bag in a community fridge so I like that I can throw some ice packs in this and know my food will be okay until my lunch. I’m also able to fit a book and a few teacher notebooks in the side compartments. It’s big enough to fit all my necessary daily items for work but small and easy enough to carry into work along with my kid’s diaper bag and the kid. And not feeling totally weighed down by having extra bags. It’s a professional looking bag to even take into an office or meeting without anyone suspecting it double as a lunch bag. I’d say it’s well worth its price tag for ease and convenience. I’d love to see this bag with more fun designs in the future. So far I’ve used this for a few weeks, heavily, and it’s held up well.
